Public repo can be private ?

Hi, I noticed in the rules that the code repository needs to be public. Is this mandatory, or can I keep it private and invite the judges to access the repo instead?

    Hi there, the rules are correct and the repo must be public. You only need to make it public right before the submission deadine and through judging, then you can make it private after the hackathon!
