Working in Different Branches During Judging

I just now read the post from yesterday stating that we should refrain from pushing any changes during the judging period. I understand this now, but I wanted to ask if we can continue working on a separate branch (so it will not affect the live/public build).

    As long as it does not interfere with the live build for the hackathon, you should be fine. I do want to emphasize being extra cautious when creating a separate branch as any updates made to the public build could lead to disqualification. Good luck!!

    another safe option would be duplicate files and copy to a new repo. amazon q can help with the github commands
